All thanks and praise is due to Allah alone, the Lord of the Worlds. We praise Him, seek refuge with Him, and seek His forgiveness. We seek refuge with Allah from evils of our souls, and the mistakes in our actions. 🌃
Whomever Allah Guides, there is none who can misguide him, and whoever Allah misguides, there is none who can guide him. 🌌
Verily, there is none worthy of being worshipped except Allah, and Muhammad (SAW) is His servant and Messenger.🌆
“The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the crescent of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.” [Al-Baqarah 2:185]
“There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month which Allah has enjoined you to fast, during which the gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained up. In it there is a night which is better than a thousand months, and whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.” [Nasai, 2106; Ahmad, 8769]
"O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous". [Al-Baqarah 2:183]
<aside> 🌻 Sahih Bukhari 2014
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever fasted the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (i.e. belief) and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his past sins will be forgiven, and whoever stood for the prayers in the night of Qadr out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven .

Every Muslim who has reached puberty is sane, and capable must fast during Ramadan. The conditions of the obligation are that one must have good health, not be travelling, and free from a preventative like menses, and post-natal bleeding. If one is excused from fasting must make up the days missed once the excuse ends. If one is chronically ill, thus incapable of making up the days missed must pay the compensation (fidya) for it.
<aside> 🌻 [Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then an equal number of other days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person [each day]. And whoever volunteers good [i.e., excess] - it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew. (Quran 2:184)

The Ramadan fast and other acts of worship are not valid unless accompanied by the proper intention. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Actions are but by intentions, and everyone shall have but that which he intended…” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 1; Muslim, 1907)
<aside> 🌻 Tirmidhi 730
Hafsah narrated that:
the Prophet said: "Whoever did not decide to fast before Fajr then there is no fast for him."
</aside>
The intention (niyyah) is an action of the heart. The Muslim should resolve in his heart that he is going to fast tomorrow. It is not prescribed for him to utter it out loud and say, “I intend to fast” or “I will fast tomorrow” or other phrases that have been innovated by some people.
One must have an intention to fast. One refrains from eating, drinking, and marital relations from fajr prayer (dawn) until maghrib prayer (sunset). One also abstains from that which nullifies the fast. The nullifiers include intercourse, ejaculation, induced vomit, menstruation, post-natal-bleeding, and apostasy. Likewise one should not smoke, take medicine or chew gum. No substance should enter through any bodily orifice.
<aside> 📌 Sahih Al-Bukhari 1894
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Fasting is a shield (or a screen or a shelter). So, the person observing fasting should avoid sexual relation with his wife and should not behave foolishly and impudently, and if somebody fights with him or abuses him, he should tell him twice, 'I am fasting." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. (Allah says about the fasting person), 'He has left his food, drink and desires for My sake. The fast is for Me. So I will reward (the fasting person) for it and the reward of good deeds is multiplied ten times."

Don’t curse, fight or backbite!
<aside> 💎 Sunan Abi Dawud 2363
Narrated Abu Hurairah:
The Prophet (ﷺ) as saying: Fast is a shield ; when one of you is fasting, he should neither behave in an obscene manner nor foolishly. If a man fights or abuses him, he should say: I am fasting, I am fasting.

Take this as an opportunity to eat a nutritious meal to help you being energized throughout the day, drink a lot and of course pray fajr when time comes! You got this!
<aside> 🌻 Sahih Al Bukhari 1923
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Take Suhur as there is a blessing in it."

If a fast is broken without a legitimate reason, it is obligatory to make the days up after the end of Ramadan. Alternatively, depending on the reason, one may be required to fast for two consecutive months or feed 60 poor people. There is no expiation for refraining from fasting without a valid excuse outside of sincere repentance. Remember, it is a great sin to break it without a valid reason, also if you accidentally eat/drink then:
<aside> 📌 Sahih Al-Bukhari 1933
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah."

It is sunnah to break fast with dates!
<aside> 💎 Sunan Abi Dawud 2356
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to break his fast before praying with some fresh dates; but if there were no fresh dates, he had a few dry dates, and if there were no dry dates, he took some mouthfuls of water.

Laylat al-Qadr, also known as the Night of Power, is a highly significant night in the Islamic faith. It is believed to be the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings be upon him). This night holds immense spiritual value and is considered to be better than a thousand months. Muslims around the world spend this night in prayer, reflection, and seeking forgiveness. It is a time of deep connection with Allah SWT and an opportunity to seek blessings and guidance. Laylat al-Qadr reminds us of the importance of spiritual devotion and the potential for profound transformation.
❕⭐ “Indeed, it is We Who sent this Quran down on the Night of Qadr. And what will make you realize what the Night of Qadr is? The Night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months. Therein descend the angels and the Rooh [Jibreel (Gabriel)] by Allah’s Permission with all Decrees, there is peace until the appearance of dawn." [Al-Qadar 97:1-5]
❕⭐ “Indeed, We sent it down during a blessed night. Indeed, We were to warn [mankind].” [al-Dukhan 44:3]

It was narrated from 'Aishah that she said:
"O Messenger of Allah, what do you think I should say in my supplication, if I come upon Laylatul-Qadr?" He said: "Say: 'Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa, fa'fu 'anni (O Allah, You are Forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me).'"
